Only the scrollbar does this. Modifying this so that it also works on the scrollable pane would be fairly easy though.

There is no definite path for CEGUI 1.0, it is a mix of changes that are mostly API/ABI breaking. Nice-to-haves would be improvements of CEED, API improvements, animation improvements, SVG support (could just be about rasterisation and atlas generation using an external lib),... It is not abandoned but all official CEGUI devs are currently mostly or fully inactive. As always, this can change at any time. We are taking in PRs and if anyone wants to pick up some development work (and maybe join the dev team, if they are serious about it) we would be happy to invite them to do...

Have you tried running the sample browser on this new computer with the (unspecified by you) CEGUI version that you are using? How does it look?

Did you build the application templates with cmake and try to build and run them onmodified and on their own? They have to run as expected.

Turns out I already fixed that. On default branch (unreleased 1.0 version). You could get default branch instead of 0.8.7 but its less stable than v0-8.

Unfortunately, backporting the Renderer is not straight-forward.

Unfortunately it is not trivial to replace this header as they deprecated the math libs we are using in that renderer in newer d3d versio. E.g. D3DXVECTOR3 and certain math functions. I am looking into replacing it with glm.

I would double check every field that is relevant for Ogre two or three times each time you click configure. Really, it is all about tghese, and you can just fill them in by yourself anyway.
