Re: Deselecting an Editbox

How would I allow my root window to steal activation? The activating of the editbox works, I can see it selecting the widget and I can start typing in it, so that part works fine :) I tried adding a click handler with an empty function to the root window, but that didn't seem to work? What method w...

Re: Deselecting an Editbox

Is your root window able to steal activation? Afaik there can only be one active Window, so.... Did you check if it gets selected if you click it (check with the functions i mentioned, e.g. use a click handler and output to console if it is active, when the click happens, maybe you need to click twi...

Re: CEGUI custom rendering

Do I understand correctly that all you want is to "shadow" everything in the background of a dialog that requires input? I think what you did is way too complicated for this, CEGUI can do these things easily without you having to dig into any rendering logic here. What you want to make is ...

Re: CEGUI custom rendering

So does anyone know if Window::render() works? Or is there anything I need to call with it for it to work? Sorry, I was busy these last days. I am going to reply to you tomorrow or saturday. This topic is something that requires me to look more into code before I can give a good answer, and I had n...

Re: CEGUI custom rendering

Your overall goal with this is unclear to me. Can you please explain what you want to render in what way and most of all how it should look?

Re: Changing the order of an image

I tried doing the remove and re-add method, but that gave issues with multithreading. I'll try out the moveToFront function, thanks! :D CEGUI has to run in a single thread. If you still get issues despite having it running in one thread then something must be wrong with how you sync between threads...

Re: Changing the order of an image

You will need to change their order in the child array. This is what defines what is drawn on top (and i think you ask for occlusion draw order right?). You can either remove all child windows and then add them in order or you can simply use the moveToFront and moveToBack functions until you get the...

Re: CEGUI custom rendering

What is Child? What is Context?
(I can guess but I dont wanna guess wrong)

What speaks against doing your rendering by rendering to a texture and then using this texture as image for a Generic/Image widget in CEGUI for example?

Re: Adding an extra image to a FrameWindow looknfeel

Apologies for my slow reply rate. Doing this in my spare time alongside my actual job... What I currently have: -> A FrameWindow with the 9 images defined. -> Code creates a new FrameWindow -> A separate StaticImage defined -> Code creates a new StaticImage, with as parent the FrameWindow -> The St...
