Re: Changing blending mode to NEAREST_NEIGHBOR?

in CEGUI 0.X we use bilinear filtering for up and downscaling. For 1.X we will use trilinear filtering so that downscaling won't get blurry anymore. I assume your issue lies with downscaling? Because with upscaling, nearest neighbor filtering wont help much. But to answer your question: Just modify ...

Re: Can't select options on drop down menus.

Hm interesting. Can you try to add a dummy image instead? (just copy the image used for something like the regular state or so)

Re: Crash on String concatenation

Which version of CEGUI?

Boost is only needed for CEED.

Thanks. And you are correct, having this in the repo should definitely be the goal.

Re: Change ToggleButton's state without triggering EventSelectStateChanged?

Set the window's eventset to be muted if you don't want the callback to be fired:
http://static.cegui.org.uk/docs/0.8.7/c ... d4ee065df1

The Window is the Eventset itself, so just call it on it.

Does that help?

Re: Circular menu

This is not trivial and many approaches are possible. I would probably make a totally custom widget. It would just render a texture ( a render texture target), to which i render customly in opengl/d3d or I would maybe try to use CEGUI's ability to render solid triangles. In either case, the geometry ...

Re: Circular menu

Depends. This is a quite complex UI, not only for animation and interaction but also for rendering. Are you trying to exactly recreate what is shown? If you want dynamic buttons with dynamic click areas you won't get around doing some kind of programmatic generation of the UI elements. CEGUI layouts...

Re: Can CEGUI integrate into libCinder

Yes, you will need to write a subclass for CEGUIRenderer and associated classes. There have been numerous integrations of CEGUI into other engines. Depending on if you use D3D or OpenGL under the hood, you might just use the regular CEGUI renderers for that without writing your own. But to make it c...

Re: Creating and editing looknfeel and schemes

I think we just talked in #cegui on IRC. To summarise: there is no looknfeel and scheme editor that is fully finished yet. The looknfeel editor was started but not completed. The recommended way is to edit XML files directly. Not comfortable but also not impossible, users created full skins in the p...

Re: [Solved] Debugging CEGUI 0.8.X strings in Visual Studio

Hey, Lubens String debugger is unstable for me on VS2015, but after some fiddling i managed to create a simpler natvis for VS2015. Please also report back if this works for you :) https://bitbucket.org/snippets/Flonor/ojpLAX I tested the natvis file and added it to the downloads: https://bitbucket....
