Re: Adding an extra image to a FrameWindow looknfeel

If you want Text on an Image on a FrameWindow I would make 3 Windows A Generic/Text as child of a Generic/Image as child of a FrameWindow. Either that or you really dig into falagard like you suggested initially. You might have to do some trial and error there though to understand how it works and m...

Re: CEGUI on OGRE 2.1

You can make a branch and then add it to CEGUI via PR.

Re: Adding an extra image to a FrameWindow looknfeel

Unfortunately I can't look into it deeply right now, I would suggest you try what I said before and deactivate the parentclipping on that child window you are adding. Does it remove the clipping?

Re: Adding an extra image to a FrameWindow looknfeel

If it is a regular child (you did not add this with the internal name for the titlebox did you) it can't get cut off by the frame. It can only be cut off by the windows extents. You can deactive clipping to prevent that. This should not ben ecessary though and imo it would be wrong to solve it that ...

Any clue where I can find that editor?

Re: Adding an extra image to a FrameWindow looknfeel

You can always just use a child window (of the FrameWindow) in case you are trying to do some complex child/parent window behaviour as seems to be the case here. You can scale and position this with relative or absolute coordinates (or a combination of both) using the CEED layout editor. If you can ...

Re: Adding an extra image to a FrameWindow looknfeel

What are you trying to do exactly? What does the titlebox (you mean titlebar) have to do with the image?

Re: Trouble bundling OSX App with CMake

I dont use MacOS unfortunately, but assuming the same issues can occur there as they can on Windows: Did you maybe mix up debug and release dynamic libraries? Are you sure you are distributing the right dynamic libraries in what you run on other machines? The exception message says the dyn lib is mi...

I merged it. Looked alright. If you notice something wrong in the pulled change, then please make a new PR.

Other than that: thank you!

Re: Error at runtime when running on another pc

EDIT3: We found it! Apparently CEGUI doesn't crash when it's missing the ExpatParser_d.dll when running locally, but requires it when running on another pc. Adding CEGUICoreWindowRendererSet_d, CEGUIExpatParser_d, and CEGUISILLYImageCodec_d to the Win32/Debug/ folder solved the issue. Thanks a lot ...

Re: How to handle unique images

Use CEED to make new imagesets. It is super easy and a pretty perfect tool to do that. Regarding performance: the best is to try it out, but my bet is that one 4096x4096 will be faster than 4 of 2048x2048. Again, best you try it out ;) Instead of StaticImage of any looknfeel you can just use Generic...

Re: How to handle unique images

Whenever you want to display an image you will somehow have to store it in a texture and upload that onto the GPU. A CEGUI Imageset or rather a CEGUI Texture basically does all that. I assume you don't just use the texture in a single frame, but 0-1 times per frame in a succession of frames. So you ...

Is the pdb file present? looks like there is no symbols. We need the pdb files for the CEGUI dlls to get a proper stack.

Re: Error at runtime when running on another pc

We just ran it on both of our pc's, and came to quite a long list of differences. After which we realized he's running Windows 10 and I'm running Windows 7. That's quite a difference of OS versions ;) We tried to do the dll-creation the other way around: him creating the dll's, and me using his. On...
