Turns out I already fixed that. On default branch (unreleased 1.0 version). You could get default branch instead of 0.8.7 but its less stable than v0-8.

Unfortunately, backporting the Renderer is not straight-forward.

Unfortunately it is not trivial to replace this header as they deprecated the math libs we are using in that renderer in newer d3d versio. E.g. D3DXVECTOR3 and certain math functions. I am looking into replacing it with glm.

I would double check every field that is relevant for Ogre two or three times each time you click configure. Really, it is all about tghese, and you can just fill them in by yourself anyway.

Seems to be some issue with the CMake config. I don't think that's our main problem here. Most of all, I do not think it has anything to do with Ogre at all.

So let's go back to step 1 :)

Did you open Cmake GUI and did you filter for OGRE_INCLUDE_DIR ?
What is inside that variable?

Do you use an up-to-date cmake version? can you paste the error messages and also the cmake error log?

Default branch uses the official Ogre CMake file. Maybe there is a newer one that you can try? Just replace cmake/FindOgre.cmake to try.

The default branch script couldn't find Ogre but the v0-8 one did? And it was the same Ogre version? That is very weird.

Might need to do this for default branch though and not 0.8.X. Not sure which one works best with latest Ogre, the latest Ogre support is purely based on user submissions.
