That would be odd though. I am sure CEGUI was more used during XP times than it is now and I never had issues (back then using XP myself) nor did we get any reports. Could it be that you use any non-default flags? Is it maybe a bug in a specific version of VS2015? Maybe it just works in VS2013 and ...

Hmm, so we are not using multiple threads actually. The game runs within on thread only and the thread also loads the library. In that case I dont see at all how the threadsafeinit flag can possibly be related and can possibly fix your issue. Function-scope statics are perfectly legal, well-defined...

Just change the style of the tooltip to whatever you want. The tooltip has a look n' feel. You can edit it to be whatever you want there. Try to look at other look n' feels to get ideas of how to change colours etc.

Looks related to the projection matrix of the renderer if you ask me. Maybe something related to the viewport. Hard to tell from the surface, but most definitely this aint on CEGUI's end (except if the IrrlichtRenderer is at fault which isnt unlikely).

Interesting.

What do you mean by static CEGUi code? Can you give an example so I can understand?

And the CEGUI exception is always triggered while parsing the taharezlook imageset?

It's a bit odd since the libs are linked. Are the libs of reasonable size (not around 0kb) ? Have you tried building the SampleBrowser? That's unfortunate. Be aware however that you can always use Silly or Devil instead of FreeImage. I personally use Silly, which is the loader CrazyEddie made by himself.

I guess what it says is correct: the files are not in the specified path. Can't tell you anything other than that from a remote view.

Did you change the compiler settings? It seems like this is a warning counting as error, and the warning comes from FreeImage. Not much we, as CEGUI, can do about either of that, unless the project setting comes from our CMake (does it?)
