Well, I really do understand that. But in fact, I was referring to lines like <Property name="HoverImage" value="set:Vanilla-Images image:ScrollRightArrow" /> in Vanilla.looknfeel that create the error I mentioned above. When I add a PropertyDefintion it works of course.

Thank you for the reply. The missing piece is to define additional scheme files that contain WindowAlias mappings from those neutral names to specific names in the 'target' scheme. Same problem on my box. I have MSVC 7.1 to 9.0 SP1 installed and I also downloaded the MSVC 8.0 and 8.0 SP1 redist packages, but still the same.
