Re: [Site/wiki] XML Layout example not up-to-date

Hi, this has already been reported and fixed. Bitbucket is doing maintenance so I can't give you the link but I am sure I committed and pushed the fix.

Re: Cannot recognise some window properties from a layout fi

Thanks for notifying us. This is definitely a bug in our docs.

I have fixed it in https://bitbucket.org/cegui/cegui/commi ... 11a98c88bf

This will be released as part of CEGUI 0.8.5.

Re: Best way to add CEGUI into open source project

We do not force dependencies onto users. Like a proper library.

Re: Best way to add CEGUI into open source project

Just add a FindCEGUI.cmake or a similar script (depending on your build system) and tell the user where to get CEGUI. Linux users will just install it via their package managers, Windows users will download the SDK. Committing any binary files is nasty anyway.

Re: [Bug/Fix] Building Dependencies with Lua in XCode fails

If that is the case we can make ToLuaPP depend on Lua in the cegui-dependencies package using "add_dependency" from cmake itself. Could you please confirm that that fixes it and submit a pull request?

Re: CEGUI Anim editor.

CEED has a work in progress animation editor, perhaps it would be better if you contributed to it. It's written in Python. The timeline and some keyframe modification are implemented but not much more. To be honest it's in the early stages. See the code at https://bitbucket.org/cegui/ceed/src//ceed/...

Re: Animation problem #2

Hi, I don't have much time during work days but I hope to have a look at this during this weekend. Before we merge this I want to have unit tests in place to ensure we don't break any documented behavior. Sorry for the delays, sometimes the best and most complex pull requests take a much longer time...

Re: Building 8.4 on Linux problems

I use Fedora 20 so it's fairly well supported (wink wink) sudo yum install tinyxml-devel freeimage-devel glm-devel freetype-devel then you can build it I think. As it says in the guide you linked - just use your package system as usual. I recommend using expat or even rapidxml instead of tinyxml, ti...

It's not implemented yet. Please consider waving a few dollars at me and it might happen soon.

Re: Image buttons on CEGUI 0.8.3

You are using TaharezLook/Button, you need to be using TaharezLook/ImageButton.

See https://bitbucket.org/cegui/cegui/src/5 ... -8#cl-3829 for a list of properties you can then use.

Re: Building 8.4 on Linux problems

We write everywhere we can that cegui-dependencies is for Windows and MacOS X only. On Fedora you can just "yum install tinyxml-devel" and be done with it.

Re: Image buttons on CEGUI 0.8.3

EDIT: Correction, from the layout screenshot on CEED I see the Vanilla widgets on the left side there, so maybe it can use looknfeel widgets. So CEED may be your best bet for creating layouts. CEED will let you edit anything, even custom widgets with custom LNF. You just have to set it up to load y...
