Re: Python binding

Whats the status on this?
Seems two people had CEGUI bindings done back in February!? One OpenGL, one Ogre.
Where have these two projects gone since then?

It would be handy to have for implementing the "preview" button in Centipede's pyGTK-based skin editor.

One more simple TODO

Here's another TODO: Simple saved preferences. It should rememeber and restore the following between invocations: - Last used imageset (should load it automatically) - Last used directory for the file chooser - Last used window position size and position - Last position of the splitter between the l...

Re: A little skin editor

I make a binary with py2exe.

CrazySkinEddietor0.11.zip

No installer. Just unzip it to a directory and double click on the exe inside to run it.

Hope it works for you!

Re: A little skin editor

Hey centipede. Glad you like it. I just made one more change which will probably be the last I make. Now instead of a big label to display info it uses a TreeView. And I put the left and right things into splitter panes so you can resize. The url is the same: CrazySkinEddietor.txt We're counting on ...

Re: A little skin editor

Are you interested in contributions? I've just added the file dialog and the hover hiliting. After adding the hover I noticed that there are some rectangle specifications in the taharezLook that don't conform to your assumptions. For instance the TabButtonNormal's lower left corner uses a piece of b...

Re: A little skin editor

Very very cool! What's on your todo list for this? Right away I think you'll want: - A file browser button so you don't have to type in filenames. (And for save too) - The ability to click on a part of an image to select it (rather than select by name) - A way to show all rects so you can browse ove...

Re: CEGUI under IrrLicht

I was seeing the same error trying to use a CEGUI I compiled with Ogre. Turned out that I copied the CEGUI dll's into a directory where the Ogre .sln would find them, but forgot to copy the .lib's for CEGUI. So I was linking against older versions of the .lib that didn't match the latest headers and...

Re: CEGUI Future Direction

CrazyEddie's GUI won't be renamed even though CE is no-longer with us. Seeing as how it turns out the real Crazy Eddie wasn't even named Eddie, I see little reason for the name of the library to change. In fact, it should be the other way around. The current maintainer should change his/her name! :...
