If you are using Visual Studio 2002 (VC7.0), you need to install STLPORT.

I think you need stlport 4.6.2, but take a look here:

std::string is using ascii, so you will loose the unicode-ness of the CEGUI::String.

Maybe you are better of using CEGUI::String where you can? :)

Are you enclosing your lua call in a try/catch block?
That way you can probably continue your app if you choose to handle the exception.

I remember the Crazy Skin Eddietor - by centipede/baxissimo. Why not continue that effort? Either port the python script, or use it as a base for an improved Falagard enabled version? :) Centipede posted news about his latest project, here: http://www.ogre3d.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=17273 T...

I do agree! Good move! :D
Great idea to turn the main CEGUI site into a Wiki. :)

Btw: Would it be possible to add Special:Recentchanges to the menu?

RTTI is "Run Time Type Information".

dynamic_cast will only work if the code is built with RTTI turned on.

dynamic_cast will return the casted type when succesful, and 0 when unsuccesful.

Re: New Site: Any problems? Post here!

It has really been impossible to use http://www.cegui.org.uk lately. :( No news, no forum, no wiki ... Maybe the time has come to investigate the possibilities of either upgrading the exsisting host, or get a new, faster one? I would really like to use the wiki and the forum, but it is almost ...

Re: How to inject win32 keys : source code

Code snippets like this are bound to vanish quickly, being buried in a CEGUI Forum...

Consider logging in to the CEGUI Wiki and add it there.

Re: Code::Blocks / MinGW support

Wouldn't it be great to add it to the CEGUI Wiki?

This will get lost pretty quickly here.

Just log in to the Wiki using your CEGUI username/password. ;)

Re: New Site: Any problems? Post here!

I agree completely.

The load times are a pain in the but.:x

I find that using FireFox makes it barely bareable, but still it feels like swimming in oil.. :?

So I spend much less time on the CEGUI forum that I would like to. :(
