In falagard you can do everything through xml files - this is a good place to start:

Question number one is actually an OGRE question:
In the example framework, when you return false from frameEnded, OGRE::Root::beginRendering ends, and your application quits.

I don't think the values are clamped between 0.0 and 1.0.
But I think it is a problem if you pass it ints instead of floats.
Try this:

Code: Select all

   slider->setMaxValue(1.0f);
   slider->setClickStep(0.1f);
   slider->setCurrentValue(1.0f);

Re: General Feedback from 4+ months of usage.

My opinion of CEGUI can be summed up as: Rather heavy weight, many nice features, generally flexible, good for tools but I wouldn't use it in a final "end-product" yet. That view is shared by a lot of people, and that's too bad. :| Would be nice if we could define "heavy weight"...

I ran it through some test runs, and it works great.
Suddenly making your own imagesets seems possible!
Without being a rocket scientist. :)

Kudos to you! :D

Wow. This topic is really laden. :) Thank you baxissimo for eloquently letting the cat out of the bag! You compilation is not picking up the CEGUI includes.
I think you can set that up in the project setting in KDevelop.

I am sorry that I can't provide more details: I am sitting in front of Windows atm. I am a not a Linux pro. :wink:
