Interesting to notice that there is no problem if I create tabcontrol at a large resolution. Text gets smaller as I decrease the resolution of the tabs. Here we go: <?xml version="1.0" ?> <Font Name="Tahoma-12" Filename="tahoma.ttf" Type="FreeType" Size="...

TabControl button size

Hello, I'm using CELayoutEditor to add TabControl to my gui. It looks good at 640x480, but if I increase the screen resolution, then text in the tab buttons is to big to fit into the button. How can I change it, so it always fits? Here is the example: 640x480 http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/4670/...

Got it! Thanks a lot.

Thanks scriptkid and Rackle! Hi, Ogre and CEGUI will create their own texture, since both simply don't know about each other in that area. I see, I thought that given that there is a CEGUIRenderer in ogre it also handles fonts. But if I use a texture for an imageset and the same texture for an overl...

Font size + Ogre explained?

Hello, I'm using Ogre as the graphics engine. Ogre has overlays which can show fonts. I can use the same true font for CEGUI. But do they use the same generated texture or they are separate? Now I'd like to change the size of the font, which looks like I'd need to create another .font file which has...

The trick was to use CEGUI:: Window ::EventNamespace + "/" + CEGUI::PushButton::EventMouseEnters rather than CEGUI:: PushButton ::EventNamespace + "/" + CEGUI::PushButton::EventMouseEnters . It does work :) Though there is still a need to check if it is a button that fired this ...

Thanks, scriptkid. That is what I am doing. But type of the button depends on the style, so it's given as "TaharezLook/Button". Of course, I could check if type contains "/Button" at the end, but it still looks like a hack as opposed to a proper solution.

Thanks, lindquist. Now I see. I want to have only push buttons, so I've tried: CEGUI::PushButton::EventNamespace + "/" + CEGUI::PushButton::EventMouseEnters, But this does not seem to work. (It works for all the windows as you show). Basically I want to play a sound when mouse hovers over ...

EventMouseEnters is not firing

I am trying to handle event when mouse enters a push button but it's not firing. I can handle mouse clicks just fine // This works! CEGUI::GlobalEventSet::getSingleton().subscribeEvent( CEGUI::PushButton::EventNamespace + "/" + CEGUI::PushButton::EventClicked, CEGUI::Event::Sub...

linking warnings

I have a lot of linking warnings about second definitions when I compile my library. Anyone knows how to get rid of these warnings? I am using Visual Studio 7.1. Thanks. Example of warnings: CEGUIBase_d.lib(CEGUIBase_d.dll) : warning LNK4006: "__declspec(dllimport) public: virtu...

Re: Register a function to receive all events

Thanks! It did help. Now I am trying to figure out how to extract what was pressed. When button is pressed I assumed that WindowEventArgs are returned, but given that there is a reference to the base class how do I get the proper arguement class? bool MyFunc(const CEGUI::EventArgs& e) &#...

Register a function to receive all events

I am using CEGUI with Ogre. I see how I can register function to be called when a button is pressed, but how do I register a function to recieve all events produced by CEGUI?

Thanks.
