Does this mechanism use the monitor resolution or the size of the cegui window ? The natural size specified in the imageset matches exactly the size of the render window. Fixed it. Thank you :)

There was a CEGUI .so file in /usr/local/lib and one in /usr/lib. Of course the wrong one was used ^^. Could it be, that v0.5 used /usr as default prefix and v.06 uses /usr/local ? What I did was to uninstall v.06 and reinstall with --prefix=/usr .

I had a similar problem.
I copied all files from /usr/local/share/CEGUI/XMLRefSchema to the CEImagesetEditor folder. This is only a workaround, but it works ^^. Perhaps your folder names are a bit different.

Of course I'd like to see a clean solution, though.
