Re: Static Linking - EndScene Hooking

You need to rebuild SILLY as a statically-linked library. Silly

Re: Windows closing

Another option is to subscribe to the event globally via the CEGUI::GlobalEventSet. There are plenty of references demonstrating how to subscribe to global events, which you can find by searching these forums.

Re: Checkbox text alignment issues

line 573 for me is the closing </Dim> tag This is because you then also need to add a closing UnifiedDim tag; this requirement is implied by changing /> to simply >. All xml tags must have a matching closing tag. The <tag/> syntax is just short-hand for <tag></tag>. This is basic xml ;) I think you...

Re: CEGUI complexWindow

Please make sure to post your threads in the appropriate forums. This is not a topic for the Advanced sub-forum. As far as your question is concerned, you can already add any kind of window as a child to any other window; of course, depending on the type of window, those children may simply be ignor...

Re: do i need to compile dependencie in Multithreaded Debug

Long Answer: all of the libraries your project links to should themselves be linking to the same MSVC Runtime that your project links too. The pre-compiled DLL libraries link to the DLL-runtime and the pre-compiled Static libraries link to the Static-runtime. If you are using a configuration differe...

Re: Background static Image and Imagesets?

I am getting the feeling that you can only have one file(texture image) per imageset? This is true. Reason I ask is, I wanted to use the existing ogretray.imageset file but use my own background image? I don't see how this will workout without making a whole new imageset file that is large enough t...

Re: Widget auto resize?

To my knowledge there is no mechanism as of yet for windows to resize themselves based on text / size changes of child windows. If it were, it would likely be handled by Layout Containers ; I believe Kulik was going to add support for this in v0.8. That being the case, you can manually resize the wi...

Re: How to integrate cegui into simple win32 opengl GUI

Honestly nothing else comes to mind so I am not sure what to recommend at this point, other than attempting to profile the code to find the bottleneck(s). Unfortunately I do not have time myself to work on that. It may be helpful to post your CEGUI.log file (should have asked for this up front), jus...

Re: How to integrate cegui into simple win32 opengl GUI

Hi umen, I am glad that you were able to derive a working example from the existing resources. Similar to Kulik I have not had to implement the Win32 window-creation or OpenGL initialization code / process for years, so my memory is vague. That said, I cannot see anything particularly wrong with you...

Re: select from imageset problem

can you supply the callstack (with debug symbols enabled) at the time of the crash? and have you tried stepping through the code line by line in the debugger during runtime to see what may be causing the crash?

Re: How to integrate cegui into simple win32 opengl GUI

As far as I am aware there is no existing simple input box example of which I can just link you too. However, I do not think you will have much trouble putting the pieces together with the available information. If you believe such an example would be beneficial, we have a wiki with which forum-memb...
