Re: Install CEED on ubuntu. Problems with PyCEGUI
Do you have python3 installed? There is a well known issue with CMake/FindPython finding the wrong python paths it happens to me on Ubuntu. It shouldn't seg fault but you never know. If so did you check that you that the build is not picking up the wrong version of python? Go to the /cegui/build dir...

Re: Rendering to Ogre texture, nothing shows up
Hello again :) I am trying to make CEGUI render to a specific texture unit in a material. The goal is to enable rendering of any number of GUIs into any arbitrary texture units at the same time. But I already fail with only one  My code is the following: // Create CEGUI renderer CEGUI::OgreRe...

Re: Python OpenGL Texture not wrapped
The change has not been incorporated, the PR is still standing. You can make a PR for the repo behind my PR if you want to change anything. The problem is that it includes Linux-only texture types for the OGL Renderer which require X11 as dependency, this is not okay for windows system. The generat...

Re: Python OpenGL Texture not wrapped
Please make a patch out of this and consider making a pull request. Contributing via code drops is better than not contributing at all but it makes it very painful for me to accept your contribution. If it doesn't break anything we can merge it to v0-8. Hi I understand, sorry for the late reply. I ...

Re: Trouble Building Python And Lua Modules
As lucebac says you don't have enough memory and/or swapspace. Run the following and let us know the total memory and swap on your system. grep MemTotal /proc/meminfo grep SwapTotal /proc/meminfo ## to get swap partition swapon -s If you can't change the size of your swap partion, you should be able...

Re: CEGUI Gstreamer
Yes it plays a video with sound on a CEGUI OpenGL texture ( it also works on an Ogre texture). Basically you create a pipeline, either by creating the elements in the pipeline in code or even easier in one line, e.g in python. You can can run/test your pipeline via gst-launch-1.0. pipeline = Gst.par...

CEGUI Gstreamer
Note sure what is the correct board index for things like this. Anyway, here is the CEGUI (version 08) OpenGL GST example for GStreamer 1.0 in C++ from the following thread. It's based on the Ogre gst 0.10 example but has an aysnch queues and uses glfw3(from code someone posted on here). http://cegu...

Re: Begginer Issue: Errors compiling with CEGUI headers
The CEGUI code should perhaps be updated to remove the ambiguity for None/NONE and X11 . Please be more specific. Which "None" are we talking about? /media/sdb5/Libraries/OGRE/sdk/v1-9/include/cegui-0/CEGUI/SystemKeys.h:39:9: error: expected identifier before numeric constant None = 0x000...

Re: Begginer Issue: Errors compiling with CEGUI headers
The CEGUI code should perhaps be updated to remove the ambiguity for None/NONE and X11 . Sorry I don't have all the headers, are you sure you moved all X11 related libs including glx to the end? #define GLEW_STATIC #include <GL/glew.h> #include <GL/glu.h> #define GLM_FORCE_RADIANS #include <glm/glm....

Re: Begginer Issue: Errors compiling with CEGUI headers
I'm getting piles of compiler errors in my app when I include the following files: CEGUI/CEGUI.h CEGUI/GUIContext.h The first errors for each are "/usr/include/cegui-0/CEGUI/PropertyHelper.h|432|error: expected unqualified-id before numeric constant" and "/usr/include/cegui-0/CEGUI/S...

Re: unsuccessful build for cegui 0.8.4 on mepis - help
Your just not pointing to the source dir e.g. (cmake ..) Here's is an example: cmake .. -DCEGUI_BUILD_PYTHON_MODULES:BOOL=OFF -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE:STRING="RelWithDebInfo" -DCEGUI_INSTALL_WITH_RPATH:BOOL=ON -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX:FILEPATH=/media/sdb5/Libraries/CEGUI/MIKE/cegui-0.8.4/sdk After...

Re: unsuccessful build for cegui 0.8.4 on mepis - help
@mmikeinsantarosa Sorry I can't see what the problem is from your dpkg-buildpackage, CEGUI appears to build and install OK. I'm not sure why there isn't a more descriptive error during dh_makeshlibs. The only thing I could see was you were not building the OpenGLRenderers since glm couldn't be found...

Re: Wrong Size and Positions with OpenGL3 Renderer on Linux
Thanks for the input :-) So, we know that with the same code and same driver, you got correct results while me not. I still think I've messed somehow my CEGUI installation. I compiled the sample browser, but it failed to see any renderer to launch the demos (I had only the OpenGL3 rendered at that ...

Re: Python OpenGL Texture not wrapped
Martin will probably fix this sooner or later, when he has time. The problem is that the OpenGL renderers were split at some point (or something related to that). Unfortunately I dont really know in detail what the issue is ;) but I would say it is safe to assert that only he can fix it, considerin...

Re: unsuccessful build for cegui 0.8.4 on mepis - help
I'm still working on it. I did check the cegui, log file and the 2013 dates are in there already...before I build. It also haas the 8.9999 version number in it. - fyi Well the CEGUI.log file that was already there is probably just a remnant from one of the devs and has nothing to do with your build,...
