Run demo in Opengl.

Postby bunjee » Sat Jun 16, 2007 14:06

Hey there,

First, hello everybody I'm new here and we want to use CEGUI for our Opengl end class project.

Now my question:

When I'm trying to run the examples I'm getting the "d3dx9d_31.dll not found error" even if I have the direct 3d SDK installed and everything because it requires a prior version.

As a result I'd like to run the demos in Opengl, but where is the renderer set in those samples ?

Thanks.

In one of the .lua files in the premake directory (i don't have the sources at hand now) you can define the renderers which should be build. There you should uncomment the OpenGL one, and re-run the batch file(s). However if you did compile direct3D renderer, then the error is a bit weird because the versions should match...

Good luck.

Thanks,

In fact the DirectX SDK of October 2006 was required to run the pre-compiled demos.

Newcomers can find it here : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=013C0F78-3C9B-44DC-B8BE-46783BCAC3CB&displaylang=en

Thanks.
Ben.
