Funny. Future3 is really the fastest and simplest skin of them all. (Of course none of them are finished but as long as the style is fixed and ready, it's ok with me. I can always pick up when somebody requests another feature or a new element in CEGUI)

When I'm not lazy, sick or at work, I doodle a bit. Here's a new style coming soon, which will really challenge CEGUI's abilities to put things together. It's 512x512 pixels so far. I'll try hard to stick to that size

..And do apologize if the server that hosts my datafiles is temporarily out of order. It is rare, but it happens.

For that "slider" how are you maping the out with the editor?

Wouldnt it be better if they were seprate pices?

Each element is in it's own layer in Gimp. When I'm about to finalize, they will just be moved away from each other with a snap of the fingers :P

My newest creation:

I use this tool today ,but there is a problem .the GTK said:
gobject.gerror : couldn't recognize the image file format for file 'imagesets/pp.tga'
What is the reason ? Thanks

That's the one drawback you'll have to accept: GTK can't do TGA files. I just convert to PNG which can also handle transparency. So:

1) Convert your favorite graphics file to .PNG using your favorite imageeditor

2) Change the outermost element, in your .imageset file so that the Imagefile attribute uses the correct file:

Code: Select all

<Imageset ... Imagefile="XXXXXX.tga" ...>

==>

<Imageset ... Imagefile="XXXXXX.png" ...>

my god, the skins look soooo good, i love them :-)

please, please, more of them :-D

i am thinking about implementation of a dynamic skin selection for VRC. it would be great if we had a kind of server with skins so the player could choose a skin available on server (just like win amp or firefox ).

excellent work guys.

cheers
boto

p.s.: future3 skin looks great, but the tab panes look a little strange: ftp://yag2002.homeftp.org/tmp/pix-gui-future3-look.png

This topic is 4 years old...did you miss the Imageset Editor on the Downloads Page?
