Building an SDL renderer

Re: Building an SDL renderer
Hi all,
am I right that there's no 2d-sdl-renderer out there right now?
I'd like to use cegui in my sdl-application, so I guess I'll have to code one of my own. Can anyone give me a hint where's the best point to start?
Looking at the headers, I think I'll have to create a GeometryBuffer-implementation somehow containing an SDL-surface?
Thanks a lot,
Haukinger

Re: Building an SDL renderer
I don't know anything about SDL. But I can tell you that years back when Lindquist started a pure SDL based renderer the results were unacceptable for performance reasons. I guess this is why most people go the SDL + GL route ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
