How do I cancel the selection of MulEditBox?

I think you need: MultiLineEditbox::clearSelection.

First a correction: you couldn't use that function anyway since it has protected access - so sorry for posting useless info :)

It's not currently possible to disable the selection ability on the editbox widget types. If you just want to disable it visually then setting an empty image to use as the selection brush would work, though beneath the surface the selection would still exist.
