Querying the available image codecs

Postby KaZeR » Mon Feb 11, 2008 15:00

Hi.

Depending of the package you use for installing cegui, you have silly or devil installed, or used by default. This is causing us some troubles currently (namely on ubuntu) and as a workaround, we've thought of querying the available image codecs available, and either picking the one we want, or warn the user if nothing match our needs. How can we query that?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Those are just loadable modules - a registry of which, at the moment, is not maintained within the CEGUI system. Presently the best (only?) way to see which ones are available is to check the file names that exist (kind of lame? yeah!).

CE.
