UDim?? Metrics Mode??

Sorry, that's a very stupid question 
Can someone explain me how works Udim class?
I read the class in the API but i don´t understand it.
I have many problems with handling mouse events with Position and Size Vectors (Vector2(UDim &x, Udim &y)).
Please i very confused
