Hey,
I really like the design of TaharezLook Progressbar, edit boxes and listboxes. They suit my current GUI perfectly and I'm wondering if I can use them even in commercial project? I'm not sure whether my project will be commercial but you know... I would like to be free :)

Hi,

Media licensing is detailed here: http://www.cegui.org.uk/api_reference/d ... nsing.html

It says that Lars Rinde - the creator - stated that the imagery is free to use so long as you do not claim you created it. I have no additional information as regards to that. I can give you my interpretation, but that is just my opinion and in no way is my opinion to be taken as the last word in such matters, anyway my opinion is this:

I think so long as credit and the origin of the imagery is clearly displayed in your product, you should be ok (and by that I mean credit to Lars Rinde, not to me or CEGUI - which you obviously also have to include to comply with the MIT license ;)). BUT... if you are in any doubt what so ever, you should likely not use it (unless you contact Lars directly to ask his explicit permission).

I know this does not really help, but still ;)

CE.

CEGUI has simplified my GUI programming so much that I obviously will give credits to it (not mentioning its obligatory by license :))! Anyway I was hoping that CEGUI is owning those graphics :P.Would be more convenien but well, that makes me think... Still I can create my own styles becouse I wanted to use only few from Taharez. Still I'm so lazy... when it comes to graphics :P. Well at least it's clearer now. Thanks CE!
