Display a stroke around all elements for debug

Postby mattekenpis » Thu Sep 05, 2013 10:50

Hello!

Sometimes there is some invisible elements that overlap on visible elements, and they disturb the normal behaviour of the hover of the mouse.

Is there a simple way to display "outlines" (surround with a stroke) all element attached to CEGUI root node, in order to make some checks about overlaps etc...
A kind of thing like this: Image

Thanx in advance for the help

Hi, this is a good idea IMO but at the moment CEGUI doesn't have anything inbuilt to do this.

Some sort of a GUI debug mode would be a great addition though. Both for us when breaking^Himproving CEGUI and our users.
