example of a menu in SDL

For help with anything that CEGUI doesn't offer straight out-of-the-box, e.g.:
- Implementation of new features, such as new Core classes, widgets, WindowRenderers, etc. ...
- Modification of any existing features for specific purposes
- Integration of CEGUI in new engines or frameworks and writing of new plugins (Renderer, Parser, ...) or modules

example of a menu in SDL

Postby Bhutanhero » Sat Sep 27, 2008 22:53

Hi all,

I'm using sdl and I want to use CEGUI to make a nice menu. I've checked the HOW TO: Using CEGUI with SDL and OpenGL but there's no code available there. Is it possible to get an example of that? Time ago, I remember there was available a code that handled a few cegui buttons in a sdl app, but now, there is not. Could anyone upload the code again or send me this code?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi and welcome :)

we appear to have a Wiki problem regarding "code" tags, rendering valuable code samples invisible in your browser. A workaround is to register to the wiki page, and hit "edit" on the pages of interest.

Hi,

I do not have a 100% solution to this issue as yet, what I have implemented is a work-aound so that the code is shown, but without syntax highlighting. Soon I hope to get the time to look into this a bit further and get the highlighting back again :)

If the page still does not show the code, you need to purge the cached copy. This can be done be appending '?action=purge' to the page URL.
