Is it possible to add russian input/output support in 0.5.x version?
This solutions seems to be for older versions of CEGUI?:

Hi,
The situation is largely unchanged - CEGUI accepts input the same way, and can output any character glyph supported by the font(s) you're using.
For input, CEGUI will use whatever you pass to it - so to input russian characters just ensure you pass them as UTF-32 codepoints to the system via the injectChar function as described here
Our FontDemo sample app shows a selection of text output it various langauges, including russian. You do not have to do anything particularly special to enable this support, the main things are to ensure your font (as in the .ttf file) provides the glyphs you need, make sure your xml and/or source files containing any russian text are utf8 encoded, and if specifying text strings in C++ code, cast the strings pointers to CEGUI::utf8*
