CEGUI VC++6.0 0.2.0 Dependencies...

For help with anything that CEGUI doesn't offer straight out-of-the-box, e.g.:
- Implementation of new features, such as new Core classes, widgets, WindowRenderers, etc. ...
- Modification of any existing features for specific purposes
- Integration of CEGUI in new engines or frameworks and writing of new plugins (Renderer, Parser, ...) or modules

CEGUI VC++6.0 0.2.0 Dependencies...

Postby Derek » Wed Apr 27, 2005 06:31

I'm guessing the 0.1.0 dependencies work with 0.2.0 since 0.2.0 is just a bug fix release.

However, will there be an stlport-free version of the dependencies for msvc++6 available anytime soon? I'd rather not have to compile all the modules. Thanks!

Hi Derek,

The only things you need now are Xerces-C++ and Freetype2. Both compile out of the box on VC 6 (sans STLport), so you should have no trouble rolling your own deps (if you use CVS code and play with CEGUIConfig.h you do not need Xerces either ;) ).

I do not what, if any, the plans are for future deps packages.
