Creating new GUI template

For help with anything that CEGUI doesn't offer straight out-of-the-box, e.g.:
- Implementation of new features, such as new Core classes, widgets, WindowRenderers, etc. ...
- Modification of any existing features for specific purposes
- Integration of CEGUI in new engines or frameworks and writing of new plugins (Renderer, Parser, ...) or modules

Creating new GUI template

Postby Tyn » Fri Feb 18, 2005 11:46

Hey

I'm having some problems understanding the GUI skinning part of CeGUI. I've read that you need only modify the .tga image and the .imageset files. If that is true, why can I just paint the whole .tga file one colour and it keeps the shapes of things like the cursor? I would expect it to be a solid block of colour, does anyone know where I am messing up?

Cheers all, the library looks very good, I just need to work out how to use it properly :)

Sounds like you're not overwriting the alpha channel data in the tga file :)

Right you are, didn't even occur to me but it's solved the problem. Cheers!

btw, the RPG style stats on the forum are a nice touch, haven't seen that before.
