Hiding default windows

im working on making a simple approach to using CELayout Editor to create single "interfaces" which are defined by seperate class files, so that i can create a mainMenu form and have a class to handle it all, etc. however, since i use a default window as a container to hold all objects in that specific GUI system (some of which are on forms, some of which are not), i have ran into some trouble hiding everything on the default window. apparently, calling hide on the default window is not hiding all the other objects on it. is there a way around this?

I'll have to test that, since what you describe (hiding the parent window), should indeed hide all attached windows

i know that it SHOULD hide all the windows, and it very well might be something retarded i have done, but i cant seem to figure it out. I would be glad share the code/xml file causing the problem if it would be any help at all. Also, i can supply a club to beat me with if i caused a lot of work for nothing and it was just some retarded user error

Once i get a website up and running, and it doesnt look like a 4 year old kid with forks in his eyes made it, ill put up some sort of tutorial on mixing SDL + OPENGL, Raknet, and such with CEGUI.
