Linux Demos?
I have a Linux version of Demo 7 laying around somewhere which I can did out, but it uses OGRE as its renderer. I'll post the URL when I get home.

Linux Demos?
The Samples directory is currently very bare This will hopefully change in January.
Before then, I'm also hoping to update all the old demos again, and this time will include the required files to build for Linux (as well as the other MSVC++ versions). This may start to happen over this weekend, though I have a dependency related item I'm working on which I want to get done first (and which may well make at least a few people happy ).

_mental_: I want to be using OGRE as the renderer, so that sounds fine to me!
CE: That would be much appreciated, we just need to see something to tinker with and get started on.
The reason for all of this is that I, like many other people, want to write my own game, with the help of others. We've spent a long time looking at different libraries and what not, and wasted a lot of time in dead end streets, but OGRE/ODE/CEGUI seem to be a nice cross platform solution for our needs. We want to just get the game going, rather than reinventing the wheel before we get started. If once we get going we find something we're not comfortable with, we can help out with those projects improve where we need them to.
The website for (what will be) the game is http://www.praelium.org if you're interested ... not much there, especially after our twiki went down, but its a start. I'll make an announcement in the forums when we have something thats worth mentioning.

Linux Demos?
I have put out a set of re-releases for the cegui/ogre demos 4, 6, and 7. These now include support for building under Linux.
If you have not seen it already, see this news item.

Thanks a lot, I'll go through them today with the other main developer.
