[Web] Spotted link to severely outdated dependencies

Postby Pazns » Thu May 12, 2016 23:41

Hi people. :)

Here, at the line The current package is available here: : http://static.cegui.org.uk/docs/0.8.7/d ... ml#dl_deps
and here at the line Dependencies (Windows / Apple OS X Only): : http://cegui.org.uk/
We can see a 2-year link to an outdated dependency archive on Sourceforge.

It seems to correspond to the tag "0.8.x" on the download page on Bitbucket, not really fresh either :

What exactly is the issue? The dependencies package you linked is not outdated.

It seems to be.

I was compiling it and got errors.
Errors fixed some times later on the master branch, rendering the snapshot obsolete.

In other words, on Bitbucket, the tag "0.8.x" (2013-05-23) does not correspond to the branch v0-8 (2016-01-10) .
Unless I'm missing something important, this is not coherent.

You are right, we should release a new one. The problem is that we don't yet have a new one created, not that the links are wrong
