Hi All, time for a MMiX.Me update!

A new version 0.2.2 is now available (Win32 MSI, 26th October 2012). The main additions are:

• Skinnable - six Falagard CEGUI skins included, swappable at run-time
• "Graphical Equalizer" in 3D

Don't forget to LIKE the new videos and facebook page! Much appreciated!

MMiX.Me 0.2.1 is a stability release.


MMiX.Me 0.2.0 is a media player with a 3D spatial UI. This is a "major" beta update in that we are enabling some new functionality. Current feature set:

• Music library playback (mp3, flac, ogg, wma, midi)
• Internet streaming radio (Loudcity)
• Embedded web browser
• Auto-download of album art
• Manual search for album art
• Various view geometries
• Sound effect plug-ins

The available download is in beta status, and updates with new cool features and bug fixes will be made available.

This is really awesome! Kudos. The skin is one of the best looking generic skins for CEGUI that I've seen.

I like your GUI effect, very cool . One thing I am thinking is how you guys implemented the 3D Window in CEGUI ? I mean I only use betajaen's Gorilla for 3D GUI effect, I have no try in CEGUI for this effect.

@Kulik, yeah we'll try and break out the Skin and make it available to all. Glad you like it!

@pizzazhang, actually it's a bit "the other way around". It is an Ogre3D application with CEGUI windows on top!

I have to say that this looks truly awesome. The GUI visuals are very nice, and it doesn't immediately look like CEGUI, which is always nice .

Now is the time to check out the first maintenance release of MMiX.Me! It's called 0.1.2, and has release date 19th August 2011.
There are a number of minor bug fixes, but more notably we've fixed problems regarding installation and crashes during first-time startup.
So go ahead, download it and keep us updated with your feedback!

Sweet CEGUI adaptation of the LInux KDE theme "KORE"! If you could make it available it would be a great asset for CEGUI development as well as the right thing to do, since KORE is under the GPL licence.

We've been rather swamped with a couple of critical bugs over the summer, so things didn't quite go as planned. But we'll be making the skin available for download ASAP, and sort out all Creds of course.
