access violation with singletons

Well i'm trying to do the equivalent of any_class::getSingleton(). ..., but every time i do so, i get an unhandled exception (invalid memory access). It seems ms_singleton doesn't have anything in it and the assert is popping up for it. Am i doing something wrong here?

Obvious question: are you instantiating the CEGUI::System object? If so, I'll have to check into this a bit further, though I have not seen this issue here
