Ident did some great work during last summer's GSoC. You can check out his work here:

Re: editing looknfeel file
what are you trying to point ?
I have compiled ceed from the mercurial sources yesterday.
I explored http://static.cegui.org.uk/docs/ceed-0. ... manual.pdf and didn't found the answer to my question neither
opening a looknfeel in ceed, open the file as a raw xml

Re: editing looknfeel file
You might have noticed that I pointed you to default branch - you most propably checked out v0-8. Ident's work is not available in the v0-8 branch at the moment.
But be aware: there's no guarantee that CEED default branch will work with CEGUI v0-8!

Re: editing looknfeel file
could you just tell me what differences there is ? because I'm using arch, and ceed was a real pain in the ass to get it working...
I need something stabe for what I'm doing, so I will certainly not just trying to mess with the working ceed. Moreover,
I certainly won't drive myself to a dead end...
I'll stay stuck with xml if there is no other way.

Re: editing looknfeel file
LNF editor is available in v0-8
If you got the latest v0-8 of CEED from the repo then you should have my work on the LNF editor as well. But beware, it is unfinished and only allows you to edit certain things so far. I will continue to work on it around this summer. What it allows you to do so far has been detailled here:

If you have any additional questions about it, ask.

Re: editing looknfeel file
actualy, I followed instructions from here : http://cegui.org.uk/wiki/CEED the about window in ceed says I have the version 0.8.0.
So, I guess I have the last version of ceed.
When I open Vanilla.looknfeel, I just get a window with the xml code

Re: editing looknfeel file
I built it with the windows-guide, the resulting CEED version should be the same but mine says 0.8.1 and I got all features.
