Virtual Reality Chat and CEGUI

hi guys,

our team has finished some demos for our Virtual Reality Chat application including source code. we use CEGUI for menu system, hud, and in-game tools.

for a full featured demo of menu system unpack the 'minimal' package and then the 'additional data' package into the same folder.

I have yet to check this out, though I will do pretty soon. (I just realised I never got back to you about the preview package you put up a while ago - sorry about that, things tend to get 'strange' around here sometimes).

errr, the packages are on the ftp server posted above:

- VRC-minimal-data.zip
- VRC-additional-data.zip

they are splitted because some community friends have limited access speed to internet. just unzip the first one, then the second one over the first one. so you get a complete package which you could place in contribution section

please append also the readme.txt file ftp://yag2002.homeftp.org/VRC/readme.txt into package

the current source dump is in following zip:

- VRC-sources-August-09-2005.zip

for latest sources use the svn repository on berliOS (visit the download section at http://yag2002.sf.net for the svn link ).

hehe, ok, what i have meant was the 'Demos' section in 'Downloads' area.

I think what we might need to do is add a 'user projects' section to the downloads (the same as we have for screen shots).

Unfortunately, we can't offer any hosting for the package(s), though you are free to submit a download that links back to your file(s) as hosted on your own server - I always prefer having the user submit the download so that they can add whatever text / screenshots they want at the same time
