On the off chance this is something you were kicking around wondering if people would use it -- I'd love to see a release that compiles under Code:Blocks + MinGW.
I certainly understand if this isn't a priority for the team.
Thanks for a great GUI library!

Re: Code::Blocks / MinGW support
Hello !
I've finally decided to join this forum, especially for that : the MinGW support of CEGUI (and Linux support also).
I remember I've tried to compile the lib months ago, without any sucess.
I'm invested in the windows port of Bankiz (http://bankiz.org).
Since one year more or less, the dev team is re-writing the game from scratch. One of us, who tried and searched the web, looking for a well designed GUI lib, skinnable etc, and especially ready to support any renderer, found CEGUI lib.
I want personnaly to port Bankiz using free open source (libre) tools. I've seen that some persons tried to compile CEGUI with mingw in that forum, but there are a few answers to their posts.
So I post that message to say you (the CEGUI dev team) that I think the MinGW support would be a great idea... especially to be used in the big world of open source games (http://jeuxlibres.net /!\ french site) which are often both developped in linux and windows.
Since I have the time, I try te re-compile the CEGUI lib once again

Re: Code::Blocks / MinGW support
Wouldn't it be great to add it to the CEGUI Wiki?
This will get lost pretty quickly here.
Just log in to the Wiki using your CEGUI username/password.

Re: Code::Blocks / MinGW support
The forums's threads id have changed !???
The link above isn't valid anymore, you should use this link to "Compling with CodeBlocks + mingw" :
http://www.cegui.org.uk/modules/newbb/v ... 9&start=20
@jacmoe : WhiteKnight provided a patch in the thread I mention. Before making a wiki entry I prefer to wait when the patch is accepted ... or rejected.
