Showing image from file

For help with general CEGUI usage:

Showing image from file

Hey

I was wondering if it is possible to load a image from file, and then show it somewhere on screen. Ive seen methods using imageset files, but I dont want to use those. Is there someway to get this done?

You could try a static image. Look at Widget Galore for an example. It uses a .layout file to position and dimension the StaticImage widget but you could just as easily do that with code.

I have tried and it is not working. I have an old version of CEGUI, and I cannot update for a while. The function doesnt exist in this version.
