wiki not showing code?

Postby brucey » Fri Sep 26, 2008 23:47

Hi :-)

If someone can point me in the direction to get the wiki to display "code" sections, I'd be very grateful.

for example, the SDL_to_CEGUI_keytable page looks like this :

Code: Select all

As this was a very boring thing to do, I'll share it with the rest of you ;)
With this function injecting KeyDown and KeyUp events to CEGUI works like you'd expect.

Usage is like so:

--lindquist 19:24, 8 Nov 2005 (CET)

However, if I edit it, I can see everything.

It's probably just me...

Thanks !

Hi and welcome :)

i can't see code either. My guess is that it has todo with the sourceforge migration, and that some highlight extensions are missing now. I will contact CrazyEddie about it. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks :-)

I always find example code helps much more than trying to figure out everything through the API docs.

Sure, and that's mainly what the wiki pages are for :)

We are looking into it, it seems indeed that SF has disabled some services. As a workaround you can register to the wiki, and press "edit" on the pages of interest to see the full sources.

Hi,

I do not have a 100% solution to this issue as yet, what I have implemented is a work-aound so that the code is shown, but without syntax highlighting. Soon I hope to get the time to look into this a bit further and get the highlighting back again :)

If the page still does not show the code, you need to purge the cached copy. This can be done be appending '?action=purge' to the page URL.

HTH

Today I've found that Widget Galore needs an edition.

Hi,

Thanks for the heads-up. I looked at this a little, and it's an odd issue.

Either this evening or tomorrow morning, I will attempt to rework my fix so that this page shows up correctly, if that does not work I'll have no option but to edit the page directly and try to fix it there :?

I can confirm that the 'fix' is now fixed, and WidgetGalore is once again showing correctly.

Thanks again for pointing out the issue :D
